Biography:

Qu Vao was born on Quermia, then taken at an early age to receive training within the Jedi Order. During his Padawan years he showed remarkable telekinetic abilities. Qu struggled to perfect these abilities, along with his natural telepathic ability. Although he was a fairly gifted swordsman, Qu Vao chose the way of the Jedi Consular. He would avoid combat if he could, and preferred to peacefully end disputes.

As a Jedi Knight, Qu Vao was often called upon to instruct students in telekinesis. Even though he carried a lightsaber, he rarely used it. When on one of his first missions, Qu was confronted by a Dark Jedi who sought to kill him. Surprisingly enough, there was never a battle. Although the Dark Jedi tried very hard to get close enough to Qu Vao to kill him, Qu not only held the Dark Jedi off, but managed to convince him to once again see the light. The Dark Jedi then turned himself in to the Jedi Council, who reinstated him as a member of the Jedi Order shortly thereafter.

Not only was Qu Vao a good diplomat, because he was often selected to attend public events. His calm and peaceful exterior was considered the perfect image of the Jedi Order. Revered for his intelligence and diplomatic skills, he was frequently teaching other students of the Jedi Order as well.

After a decade of serving as a Jedi Knight, Qu Vao has become a respected and reliable member of the Jedi Order. Many Jedi of the Order consider Qu Vao a mentor, and often consult him when they are troubled. He almost always communicates telepathically with his fellow Jedi, and only uses his voice when appearing publicly.
